| HUNGARIAN FOLK ART & FINE ART offering hungarian folk art and fine art imported directly from Hungary and Transylvania, is a division of Sector Enterprises, which, as a family business, was established in the seventies for the design and fabrication of custom made acrylic displays, furniture and accessories. In 1996 I began to import hand made, hand painted pottery from my native country, Hungary, and embroidery, wood carvings and pottery from Transylvania. Reproductions of works by famous Hungarian painters, hand painted porcelain and other products were added later. My purpose is twofold: first: making the American public aware of Hungarian art, second: helping the people who keep the traditional Hungarian folk art alive, by buying their products directly from them. Several humanitarian projects (orphanage, old folks home, clinic in Transylvania) are benefitting from the proceeds. Whatever we sell is made in Hungary, or by Hungarians living outside the present borders of Hungary.
